Amniocentesis
Amniocentesis is a test that can determine if your baby has Down Syndrome or other genetic or chromosomal conditions. During amniocentesis, we use a high-resolution ultrasound as we guide a needle into the amniotic sac through your abdomen to withdraw a small sample of fluid. We then analyze the sample to diagnose your baby’s condition.
